The Mayor of Boston is about to cancel a long-scheduled James Brown concert to avoid confrontation. Instead, Brown took to the stage and his televised performance that night was credited with playing a role in shielding the city from a tragic meltdown. This documentary tells the compelling tale of the event using archival concert footage and interviews.
