The sixth film in the ever-darkening series is visually stunningly and has its fair share of gleeful humour too, as the young wizard's inevitable battle with he-who-shall-not-be-named draws closer. Dumbledore guides Harry through a young Voldemort's memories, while love is in the air at Hogwarts. Along with the now-regular cast, Jim Broadbent is introduced as the egotistical charmer, Professor Slughorn, whose own memories will play a crucial role. Though Rowling's 650-page book was substantially cut down, the film still clocks in at over two and a half hours and certainly does the story justice.
