A sweetly off-beat romantic comedy with Steve Zahn as Mike, a maladjusted loner working in his parents' motel, and Jennifer Aniston as travelling paint saleswoman Sue, whom he falls head-over-heels for. Sue doesn't respond immediately the way Mike would like, but he's not about to give up on the girl of his dreams - he follows her across country, making ever-more bizarre and desperate attempts to win her over. And it wouldn't be a romantic comedy if he didn't eventually succeed. Likeable leads and a goofy plot are rounded out by a strong support cast including Fred Ward, and Woody Harrelson as an ex-hippie yoghurt magnate.
