Ong Bak 2: The Beginning
Martial arts wunderkind Tony Jaa returns with more jaw-dropping, bone-shattering action, and this time he also got behind the camera and co-directed. Bearing no resemblance to the first film in any way, other than having Tony Jaa in the lead, this 'sequel' is an epic revenge tale, set hundreds of years in the past. Jaa plays Tien, a young nobleman who witnessed his family massacred and then was stripped of his title. Naturally he wants a crack at the baddies that killed his folks, and er...and then there was a big fight! Lots of big crazy fights! Yes, the storyline's nothing new, in fact it's almost homage - but the star of this show is the incredible Tony Jaa.
