Crusade: A March Through Time
Having missed the crucial goal in a football match, Dolf decides to use his mother's experimental time machine to go back a couple of hours and correct his mistake. Only this time he overshoots by about 800 years. Not only is he in the 13th century, but he is attacked by bandits. Luckily for Dolf, the courageous Jenne is nearby and comes to his aid. She is about to lead 8000 children on the Children's Crusade to Jerusalem and Dolf's 20th century smarts make him a natural leader, but he will need to summon all his resources to evade the 13th century's most notorious tyrant. Based on the novel for young adults by Thea Beckman.
