Tyson

A riveting documentary portrait of the controversial boxer in which Iron Mike frankly tells the story of his rollercoaster ride of a life. From his tough upbringing in Brooklyn, when he was bullied as a kid, to the fame and scandal that would follow - no subject is off-limits. Made by friend and filmmaker James Toback who assembled the film from more than 30 hours of interview footage, Tyson speaks openly about his tumultuous life, coming across as far more complex than the brutish image we are all accustomed to seeing in the media. Screening at Cannes in 2008, the film was awarded a unique Regard Knockout Award.
