A macabre comic-horror about two 18th century grave robbers, Arthur (Dominic Monaghan) and Willie (Larry Fessenden), who also hunt the undead that refuse to stay in the ground where they belong. They are arrested by intimidating holyman Father Duffy (Ron Perlman) who threatens them with the guillotine unless they make a full confession. Arthur starts his morbid story at the beginning. With its absurd flights of fancy and dry wit, Glenn McQuaid's debut feature could have been directed by Terry Gilliam. Stylishly grubby and gleeful, this is a treat for horror fans who like their gore to have a sense of humour.
