A harrowing and provocative drama, with Kerry Fox as a prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague, leading a trial against a former commander of the Yugoslavian National Army. He is accused of deporting, then killing dozens of Bosnian-Muslim civilians. But when a key witness commits suicide it looks as though the case may fall apart. Hannah (Fox) travels to Sarajevo for the funeral and meets the witness's sister. Maybe she can step in and save the case, if they can make it back to the courtroom. German director Hans-Christian Schmid won the Amnesty International Prize at the Berlin Film Festival, with his suspenseful and intense tale of international justice and corruption.
