Lucky Country
An outback western, set in the early 1900s, whereby a widower and former schoolteacher decides to leave the material world behind, and take his children out to live off the land. Unfortunately his ideology outreaches his skill-set, so when three strangers arrive on their doorstep, he is grateful for their help in exchange for nursing one of them who is ill. But their presence becomes more menacing when one of them reveals a secret - he's found gold. As the lure of gold infects everyone, the cabin becomes a psychological battleground in which the loyalty of Tom's children will be put to the ultimate test. A superbly executed and intense drama.
