Nocturne Indien

A young Frenchman goes in search of his friend after he goes missing in India in this reflective and sensually photographed drama from French director Alain Corneau ('Tous les Matins du Monde'). Concentration camp survivor Peter (Otto Tausig) travels to India after seeing an intriguing photograph, and seemingly disappears. His friend (Jean-Hughes Anglade) arrives in Bombay and attempts to track him down in the vibrant, culturally foreign landscape, embarking further on his own journey of transformation with every step he takes. Based on the evocative novel by Portuguese author Antonio Tabucchi. Nominated for 5 Cesars, Yves Angelo's stunning camerawork won Best Cinematography.
