Dov'e la Liberta...? ( Where is Freedom ? )

Italy's favourite comic son, Toto, stars as Salvatore Loicano, a convict who has just been released from prison after 22 years behind bars. The former barber had committed a crime of passion, killing a friend who had offended his wife. Being released is every inmate's dream, but Salvatore learns almost immediately that freedom isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sal's solution? Break back into prison. This bittersweet comedy from the father of Italian Neo-Realism, Roberto Rossellini, stars the beloved Italian superstar Toto, who gives a knock-out performance which is both hilarious and filled with pathos.
