Steve Carrell is Andy Stitzer, a cheerful, middle-aged geek who, as the title suggests, has yet to take the sexual plunge. When his friends find out, they decide to take matters into their own hands, so to speak, and find him a willing woman. Not an easy task. Achieving the seemingly impossible, this is a subtle, bawdy sex comedy with Carrell pitch-perfect as the naive comic-collecting hopeful and Catherine Keener appealing and believable as his potential de-flowerer.
