The Sarah Jane Adventures: Series 1
In this BBC science fiction series - a spinoff of the long-running Doctor Who - Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen), a companion of the third and fourth incarnations of Doctor Who (from the original series, not the 2005 revival) sets off on a series of fantastic missions that include saving the world from evil alien takeovers, and helping lost extraterrestrials find their way home. She is aided in her family-friendly missions by a crack team of teens: Luke, Clyde and Maria.
