Little Ashes

In 1922, Madrid wavers on the edge of social change as traditional values are challenged by the new influences of Jazz, Freud and the avant-garde. The young artist Salvador Dali (Robert Pattinson) arrives at the renowned School of Fine Arts to further his studies and is immediately drawn into the decadent lifestyle of other future masters of the surreal, including filmmaker-to-be Luis Bunuel (Matthew McNulty) and poet Federico Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran). For a brief period, the formidable trio find themselves virtually defining the currents of modernism; however, Bunuel then leaves for Paris, and Salvador and Federico are thrust together even closer than before - so close that one night, their relations suddenly cross the line from platonic friendship to something far more intimate...
