Alice in Wonderland
An incredible ensemble cast (Cary Grant, Gary Cooper, Edna May oliver, W.C. Fields, etc) led the producers to dub this film 'The Entertainment Miracle Of All Times!' (their exclamation point, not ours). A live-action spectacular with an animated 'Walrus and the Carpenter' sequence in the middle, this version of the beloved tale combines highlights from the first book and Carrol's sequel 'Through the Looking Glass' (a common ploy in 'Alice' films) and is full of family fun with zany characters brought to life by some of the best comic (and many ex-vaudeville) actors in the business.
