The Deal

Made-for-TV drama which probes the rivalry between real-life Prime Ministers Tony Blair (Michael Sheen) and Gordon Brown (David Morrissey), who, for the sake of a nation, struck an extraordinary deal. Scathing, witty and imaginatively filmed, "The Deal" is an intense and riveting film that captivates from beginning to end. Director Stephen Frears and writer Peter Morgan would later collaborate on "The Queen", which also saw Michael Sheen reprise his role as Tony Blair.
