Youssou N'Dour: Return to Goree

Reversing the trajectory of the slave trade, African superstar Youssou N'Dour brings jazz back to Africa in this documentary. Along with his pianist Moncef Genoud, and a phenomenal group of jazz musicians, N'Dour's musical journey takes him from New Orleans to Paris and beyond. The heartfelt film ends in a climactic concert in the island of Goree - a way station in the traffic of slaves.
