The Fox and the Child

An adventurous 10-year-old girl spends her life wandering the gorgeous, animal-filled forests near her home and one day discovers a wild fox. She sets out to tame and befriend it, bit by bit building a relationship against the backdrop of the European countryside, the fox leading her human companion on adventures bold, funny and (warning to pre-schoolers) sometimes scary. Filmmaker Luc Jacquet follows 'March of the Penguins' with another beautifully shot celebration of nature, a fairy tale-cum-natural history lesson, featuring narration by Kate Winslet.
