The Karate Kid
Loose remake of the popular 1984 film follows 12-year-old Dre Parker (Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith) from Detroit to Beijing, where his mother (Taraji P Henson) is starting a new job. But when Dre's crush on a young violin prodigy causes him to clash with a local martial arts student, he turns to eccentric maintenance man Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) to teach him the ancient art of kung fu so he can face off against his rival in an upcoming tournament.
