Matters only worsen when one of them, Richard, falls for a beautiful Afghan interpreter, considered not only taboo but punishable by death. Betrayed by the local police chief, Richard is a hunted man in a very hostile land. With the enraged Taliban in pursuit, escaping to Pakistan will be his only hope - but who can he trust in a country that shares the same principles as its enemy neighbours.
