Nights in the Gardens of Spain

"One's real life is often the life one does not lead". Adapted from Witi Ihimaera's novel of the same name and starring a bevy of great Kiwi talent (Calvin Tuteao, Dean O'Gorman, George Henare, etc), this powerful drama studies a family in crisis. Kawa has it all: wonderful wife, great kids, successful job, and a secret male lover. Kawa has never dealt with his own sexuality within himself let alone with the people around him, so when his lover is finally fed up with being a secret, Kawa's world is turned upside down.
