Two in the Wave

The two are Jean-Luc Godard and Francois Truffaut, friends and writers for the magazine Cahiers du Cinema, whose films "Breathless" and "The 400 Blows," respectively, would jump-start the movement known as the French New Wave. Follow the duo's evolving moviemaking styles, and see how politics eventually led to a bitter falling out, in this clip-filled documentary that features insight from colleagues and rare interview footage.
