The Whore
Based on the international best-seller by Iny Lorentz, and set in Konstanz, at a time when the Church is struggling to maintain its moral authority. Marie Schaerer, the beautiful daughter of a wealthy cloth merchant is accused of Harlotry on the eve of her arranged marriage to the illegitimate son of a Duke.
