Critically acclaimed French drama about a 10-year-old girl who assumes a male identity to fit in when her family move to a small village. The film has won numerous awards at Gay and Lesbian film festivals around the world. A French family with two daughters, 10-year-old Laure and 6-year-old Jeanne, moves to a new neighborhood during the summer holidays. Cut to Seberg and her tomboy way, Laura is immediately mistaken for a boy, delivered by local children and their like Michael. This gender confusion in children's theater director Celine Sciamma brings a light, charming touch. Zoe Heran as Laura / Michael and Jane Malonn Levanna as less than brilliant. It's a relationship movie: the relationship between a child and a person's body between the heart and more complex.
