Goodbye, First Love

Following the critically acclaimed "Father of my Children", Mia Hansen-Love returns with this equally impressive, and loosely autobiographical, coming-of-age drama which sees the blooming of first love turning into heartbreak and then renewal, maturity and liberation. Lola Creton stars as Camille, a Parisian teenager who is broken-hearted when her childhood sweetheart, Sullivan (Sebastian Urzendowsky), announces that he is leaving her behind to spend a year travelling in South America. Camille is at first inconsolable, but gradually discovers more constructive ways to channel her energy. With the help of Lorenz, an older professor, she develops a keen interest in architecture and gradually begins to emerge from her depression - at least, until Sullivan unexpectedly comes back into her life...
