Myn Bala: Warriors of the Steppe

Director Akan Satayev's 'Myn Bala' (one thousand boys) is the epic story of a group of young rebels who rose up against a brutal Mongol army occupying their land in the early 18th century. Determined to restore the Empire of Genghis Khan, the Dzungers were a merciless yet powerful tribe, feared by everyone. Sartai, a young freedom fighter, was determined to free his country and leads his young warriors into a legendary battle against an army twice the size.
