Funny Bones

Jerry Lewis is the famous father of struggling comedian (Oliver Platt) desperate to make his own name in the business. He is not making it in Las Vegas and decides to go back to his family's roots in Blackpool. There he meets entertainers who remember his father and also a young man with natural comedic talent, played by Lee Evans in a startling film debut. Funny, dark, but full of heart too, this is a great all-rounder from the director of 'Hear My Song'.
