Turning Tide

A.k.a. "En solitaire". The directorial debut from famed cinematographer Christophe Offenstein. Turning Tide stars François Cluzet (The Intouchables) as Yann Kermadec. After his friend Franck breaks his leg last minute Yann is given the opportunity to skipper in his place in the Vendée Globe, a solo three month yacht race across the world. After being held up on the Canary Islands he rejoins the race only to discover a stowaway, the teenage Mano who threatens his chances in the strictly solo race.
