Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous Sherlock Holmes story is brought to the screen with Tom Baker in a 4 part BBC TV adaptation. When Sherlock Holmes receives a visit from Dr. James Mortimer and his concern over the mysterious death of his old friend Sir Charles Baskerville, Holmes and Dr. Watson start their investigation. Baskerville was a man haunted by the family legend of a supernatural hell-hound and now that heir to the estate Sir Henry Baskerville has arrived to take up residence, Holmes is determined to ensure the same fate does not lie in wait.
