From the director of Monsters, Godzilla is back after a ten year break, just in time to mark the 60th anniversary in the Godzilla universe. The world's most feared monster is pitted against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. The only hope for the world may be Godzilla, but the challenge for the King of the Monsters will be great even as Humanity struggles to understand the destructive ally they have. The film takes cues from older Godzilla films in order to distance itself from the 1998 American remake. The result is a modern blockbuster with an age old anti-hero - full of destruction, monsters and a CGI spectacle of the highest order.
