Tour de Force

Aka "La grande boucle". A forlorn cyling nut embarks on his personal Tour de France, hoping to win his wife back in the process, in this French feel-good comedy. François (Clovis Cornillac) spends as much time as he can on his bike and dreams of being a professional. When his wife tells him she's leaving with his son in tow, he concocts a plan - with depressed former sports manager Rémi (Bouli Lanners) - to race the Tour de France alone, a day ahead of the pros. Solo at first, he is soon joined by others inspired by his act. As each stage passes, a media frenzy grows and the crowds grow bigger and a movement begins that doesn't please the real race officials.
