The Lunchbox
A good old-fashioned romance that has charmed cinema audiences worldwide, "The Lunchbox" sees a mistaken delivery in Mumbai's famously efficient lunchbox delivery system connect a young and lonely housewife, Ila (Nimrat Kaur), to the older man Saajan (Irrfan Khan). Saajan sends back a note to state the mistake but thank her for the food regardless. However, his love for her food comes as a surprise to Ila, who is more accustomed to her thankless husband, and she decides to keep sending the lunch box for Saajan. The two begin exchanging notes and soon they reveal more to each other through their correspondence than they would to anyone else.
