Loch Ness

When disgraced American anthropologist and self-appointed sceptic Dempsey (Golden Globe Award winner Ted Danson) arrives for a new assignment in Scotland there is nothing to prepare him for the magical journey ahead of him. Hired to research the legend of the famed Loch Ness monster, his scientific quest becomes all the more grounded as he encounters the small town charm of the local people - including innkeeper Laura (Joely Richardson, her young daughter Isabel (Kirsty Graham), the local water bailiff (Oscar nominee Ian Holm and research assistant Adrian Foote (James Frain, Grimm). A gentle tale of intrigue and romance, Loch Ness is a touching exploration of friendship as well as the arresting power and mystery of mythology.
