Space games turn into reality when experimental space station ULC53, run by the enigmatic Dr. Daniels (Klaus Kinski) is invaded by a trio of tough cosmic fugitives. Even Max, the near-human android, almost blows a fuse when conronted by the sensuous space-jacker Maggie (Brie Howard). Max's increasing sexual-awareness - until then just electronic theory - becomes an obsession as the spark of life is injected into his bionic mate, the beautifully perfect Cassandra. But things are not always what they seem.
