Diplomacy

As the Allies march toward Paris in the summer of 1944, Hitler gives orders that the French capital should be destroyed rather than fall into enemy hands. The person assigned to carry out this act is General Dietrich von Choltitz, who has mines planted on the Eiffel Tower, in the Louvre and Notre Dame. On August 25, 1944, with 12 hours til detonation, Swedish Consul General Raoul Nordling has 24 hours to dissuade Choltitz.
