Tim's Vermeer

Art documentary from Teller (as in one half of Penn & Teller), asking the question: Is a masterpiece still a masterpiece if an amateur could do it? Tim Jenison is a Texan inventor and intense admirer of 17th century Dutch master Johannes Vermeer (who did 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'). Fascinated with Vermeer's ability to paint so photo-realistically, he embarks on a research mission. Jenison contends that the painting style is reproducible via a lens and angled mirror arrangement, and sets out to copy 'The Music Lesson'.
