Tristan and Isolde (Copy)

Before Romeo and Juliet, before Arthur and Guinevere, there was Tristan and Isolde, the star-crossed lovers of medieval folklore. The rule of Rome is over, Lord Marke (Rufus Sewell) is attempting to unite the English tribes and defeat the Irish king, his de facto ruler, Donnchadh. Marke's prodigy is Tristan (James Franco), an orphan who has become a great warrior, but what Marke doesn't know is that his best soldier is in love with Isolde (Sophia Myles) the Irish king's daughter. 900 years in the making, this is a lavish romantic adventure executive produced by Ridely Scott.
