De Niro and Pacino finally get some quality screentime together in this New York cop thriller in which they play long-time partners working homicide. When a murder sparks memories of a 30-year-old case these two seasoned old pros find themselves on the trail of a vigilante killer. Directed by Jon Avnet ('88 Minutes'), and scripted by Russell Gewirtz ('Inside Man'), the story may be nothing ground-breaking, but this is still a compelling watch largely thanks to the chemistry between the two genre veteran leads, and a solid support cast that features 50 Cent, Carla Gugino, John Leguizamo, Donnie Wahlberg and Brian Dennehy.
