Rachel Getting Married (Blu-ray)

Alternately heartbreaking and acidic dysfunctional family drama stars Anne Hathaway as Kym, a recovering drug addict who has checked out of rehab and is on her way to her sister's wedding. While the bride-to-be is glad to have her sister home, she is struggling with forgiveness over past transgressions, and irritated by her father's doting on the prodigal daughter. Meanwhile divorced mum Debra Winger is also having trouble putting the past behind her. Director Jonathan Demme shot the film using hand-held cameras for a sense of realism; and Hathaway was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her typecast-shattering performance.
