Legends of the Fall

Set in Montana in the early 1900s, this sprawling drama stars Brad Pitt, Aidan Quinn and Henry Thomas as three disparate brothers raised by their father, free-spirited former cavalry officer Anthony Hopkins. Familial strife ignites with the outbreak of World War I and the arrival of the youngest brother's fiancee, beautiful Easterner Julia Ormond, for whom all three share an affection. Based on the novella by Jim Harrison and directed by Edward Zwick ("The Last Samurai"). Academy Award winner for Best Cinematography.
