The Nanny

Bette Davis fans will love this taut thriller, which represents something of a departure for Hammer Films, noted for their gothic period pieces, about a young boy who has been accused of drowning his sister, but insists he is innocent. As he makes his suspicions about the Nanny public, murderous schemes develop. Jimmy Sangster adapted the screenplay from a novel by Evelyn Piper.
