Planes, Trains And Automobiles

Steve Martin is an uptight ad exec trying to get home to Chicago for Thanksgiving with his family. His flight from New York is detoured to Wichita and he finds himself saddled with John Candy, a well-meaning but very annoying shower curtain salesman. A traveller's nightmare filled with slapstick, intolerance and more modes of transportation than are mentioned in the title.
