Romper Stomper

Geoffrey Wright's controversial film about a community of Melbourne skinheads. Scenes of ultra violence and racism prompted the Anti Nazi League to question the wisdom of making such a film. Most viewers, however, should find the overall message one of anti-violence. Kiwi actor Russell Crowe is outstanding as the menacing, 'Mein Kampf' quoting, skinhead leader.
