Say Anything...

Superb performances from stars John Cusack and Ione Skye fuel this romantic comedy from screenwriter/first-time director Cameron Crowe. Army brat Lloyd Dobler (Cusack), a somewhat aimless recent high school grad, tries to defy the odds by winning the heart of the beauty-and-brains combination of Diane Court (Skye)--whos set to fly off to study in England--despite her overprotective divorced dad's (John Mahoney) objections.
