Tales from the Darkside: The Movie
Solid stories (by Michael McDowell, Arthur Conan Doyle and Stephen King), a fine cast, and stories that would be unsuitable for T.V. make this horror anthology well worthwhile. In "Lot 249", a nerdy archaeology student unearths a dead mummy that has taste for human blood, particularly of snooty student bullies. "Cat From Hell" features a cat with nine lives intent on taking from humans their only one! In "Lover's Vow", a stone gargoyle comes to life and binds a struggling artist to a deadly promise - one he struggles to keep. Stars include Deborah Harry, Christian Slater, James Remar and Rae Dawn Chong.
