Winter Light

This chilling and powerful story of despair is the second of Bergman's trilogy (the others two being "The Silence" and "Through a Glass Darkly") and for people who want to go over the edge in depression, a double feature with Bresson's Diary of a Country Priest should do it. The story concerns a disillusioned pastor who loses his vocation and watches as his congregation crumbles along with his faith.
