Would I Lie To You? / Would I Lie To You, Again?

'Would I Lie To You?' Jobless, broke and down and out in Paris, Eddie Vuibert (Richard Anconina) is going nowhere fast. After a local fabric-seller comes to his aid in a street fracas, he is mistaken for being Jewish and finds his whole world turned upside down! Given a job and a home, his life couldn't be better, but when he falls for the boss' daughter, Sandra, will the lie catch up with him? Dealing with religion, materialism, sexual indiscretions and the male machismo, this hit comedy took French cinemas by storm! 'Would I Lie To You, Again?' After a deal with a chain of department stores goes horribly wrong, the little Davids of Le Sentier find themselves fighting a Goliath... and it'll take all of their chutzpah to get out of this one! Meanwhile, the penniless Serge (Jose Garcia) is mistaken for his wealthy cousin and becomes entangled with the beautiful Chochana, the pampered daughter of a wealthy furniture kingpin.
