Three brothers and their handicapped sister convene in their hometown of Glasgow for their mothers funeral. The siblings later seperate to each deal with their grief in their own, at times, unconventional ways, from all night vigils to bar fights, as a vicious storm rips through the town in this violent, dark and sometimes comical drama. Directed by Scottish actor Peter Mullan who would later tackle Catholicism head on in 'The Magdalene Sisters'.
