Belfast, Northern Ireland, in the 1980s is the setting for director Barry Levinson's winning comedy in which Colm, a Catholic barber, befriends George, a Protestant barber, while serving inmates in a mental hospital. The two decide to start an inmate's toupee business, serving clients of both religions, and wind up facing competition from a rival company and trying to take the IRA on as clients. Barry McEvoy, Brian O'Byrne, Billy Connolly and Anna Friel star.
