Includes new interviews and archival footage with Hendrix and bandmates Mitch Mitchell, Noel Redding, Billy Cox and Buddy Miles as well as contributions from the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Vernon Reid, Slash, and original engineer Eddie Kramer. Secondly; 'Jimi Hendrix: Live at the Fillmore East' features the only known colour and black and white rare footage of the group in concert and includes tracks such as 'Who Knows', 'Machine Gun', 'Izabella', 'Fire' and 'Foxey Lady'.
